Custom Tan (classic)
/ hand-airbrushed and fully custom-mixed for your exact skin tone and undertone. Cooler skin gets a cooler base, warmer skin gets warmer — which is the actual reason our tans don't look orange. Develops over 8–24 hours into a believable, beautifully even glow that fades the way real sun does.

Rapid Tan (express rinse off formula)
/ for when you don't have 8 hours to let a tan develop. Our Rapid formula lets you rinse in as little as 1–3 hours depending on how deep you want to go — the longer you wait, the deeper the result. Same Norvell quality, same hand-airbrushed application, same custom mixing. Just compressed.

/ the morning of an event, the day of a flight, last-minute plans, anyone who can't sleep in the tan.

Organic Clear Tan
/ our naturally derived option for clients who prefer a cleaner ingredient list — formulated without the cosmetic bronzer, so what you see is purely your developed color (no temporary tint, no transfer onto sheets or clothes before you rinse, no smell). Develops over the same 8–24 hour window as Custom. Same hand-airbrushed application, same custom mixing, same realistic finish. Gentler on sensitive skin.

How to prep
/ exfoliate, shave or wax. Day of: clean skin only — no lotion, deodorant, makeup, perfume, or oil. Wear: loose, dark clothing. Flip-flops if you have them.

24h before
/ we'll talk shade — how deep you want to go, what undertone, what you're going for, and which formula makes sense for your timeline. You'll step into our private tanning room, and we'll guide you through each pose. The actual spray takes about fifteen minutes. We finish with a setting powder so you can dress and walk out without any tackiness.

The appointment
/ Color develops over the recommended window for your formula — 8–24 hours for Custom and Organic, 1–4 hours for Rapid. Avoid water, sweat, and tight clothing during that window. When it's time to rinse: lukewarm water, sulfate-free cleanser. Moisturize daily. Hydrated skin holds a tan twice as long.

After
/ a typical spray tan lasts 7 to 10 days with proper care. Come as you are. You'll leave looking like you just got back from somewhere lovely.

/ custom is the default and what most clients love. Choose Rapid if you're tight on time. Choose Organic if you have sensitive skin, are pregnant, or prefer cleaner ingredients. Not sure? Tell us when you book.

/ no. Orange happens when the formula doesn't match the skin. We mix yours specifically — cooler undertones get cooler bases, warmer undertones get warmer ones. You'll look sun-kissed, not tinted.

/ 1–2 days for Custom or Organic. Rapid can be done same-day if needed. For weddings, we recommend a trial run 2–3 weeks before so there are no surprises.

/ all Norvell formulas are paraben-free, gluten-free, and cruelty-free. Organic Norvell goes further with naturally derived ingredients and no synthetic fragrances. Sensitivities? Just tell us.
